Organize Your Purse
Although our purses are probably the smallest storage unit a girl probably owns, it is surprising how much junk we can fit in there. From makeup to snacks to tweezers and credit cards and last years’ flight tickets to Vegas, your purse is basically your entire life. And unfortunately your entire life is shoved into a tiny space. What can you do about that? Well it’s all about a little bit of organizing. The main keys when you organize your purse  are getting rid of anything that hasn’t been used in the past month, making sure all the important cards, cash, and change are in one place, and determining the true importance of makeup.

·       1) As women we tend to give sentimental value to anything including a pack of gum that is a few weeks old, but seriously, ew.  Organize your purse! Throw that old gum away as well as the old chewy bar and that pen that seems to be out of ink. These items may be small but they do add up and end up taking up a good amount of space.

·       2) Keeping all your valuable cards, cash, and change in one specific spot is also very important, since I’m sure most of us know what it’s like to have those few seconds of panic when you can’t find your credit card, or where did I put that 20 dollar bill! Well as long as you keep those things in a certain spot (such as your wallet) you will never have to go through those few seconds of panic again. Now isn’t that a life saver!

·       3) Now the one type of item that actually takes up most of the space in my purse is of course, my makeup. A girl has got to look good we all know that, but this doesn’t mean that you need to carry around with you everything from an eyelash curler to concealer. Stick to the basics, your gloss, eyeliner, and maybe even cover up in case of a nose powdering emergency. Keep it simple and trust me that it would be better for your skin and for your poor shoulder that endures all this unnecessary baggage.

Using these 3 helpful tips of getting rid of anything that hasn’t been used in the past month, making sure all the important cards, cash, and change are in one place, and determining the true importance of makeup will make a bigger difference than you can imagine. Your purse is an essential part of your everyday life, and you want to make sure it stays that way instead of becoming a personal dumpster. So just try out these purse organizing tips and you’ll feel the weight lifted off your shoulders, literally. If organizing isn’t your thing, you can always hire a local Professional Organizer!
